NOVEMBER WORKSHOP

London. 09/11/24.

Come and join us.

Nagib (House of Fortitude) and I have been creating together for the last 7 years and would like to invite you to be a part of our latest co-creation: a one day immersive workshop where we’ll be sharing our approaches to making images with the wonderful Silas as our muse.

Who is this for?

This workshop is for those photographers who, like us, feel that a technically perfect photo is entirely meaningless without emotion. Whether you’re new to photography or looking to expand your creative horizons and your portfolio, this experience is designed to help you explore your intuition and embrace imperfection and inspiration.

What to Expect:

We are two photographers with a wealth of experience and a shared interest in making evocative, emotive portraits, both clothed and unclothed. We'll be discussing and delving into many different aspects of this process eg. photographic techniques, how to connect and work with models, questions around ethics and behaviour, how to create images that have a sense of honesty and intimacy, etc.

We will then move on to the practical part of the workshop, and photograph Bo in three distinct settings: outdoors in nature, indoors with natural light, and in a studio environment.

 FAQs

  • Yes, beginners are very welcome. As long as you know how to operate the camera you’re bringing, you’ll be able to follow along. We’ll cover some technical topics, such as our cameras and film stocks, but we won’t have time for basic camera operation instruction.

  • No, digital photographers are just as welcome as analogue photographers. While Nagib and I work exclusively with film, and there will be some film-specific discussions, the workshop is open to all photography enthusiasts regardless of your preferred medium.

  • If you’re eager to attend but can’t afford the full £299 upfront, please get in touch. We’re happy to discuss a payment plan of up to 3 installments, with the total amount to be paid before the workshop date. We want to make this experience accessible for those who are passionate about joining us.

  • Due to the nature of our work as self-employed artists, all bookings are non-refundable. Cancellations result in lost opportunities for others and essential income for us. We appreciate your understanding and commitment when reserving your spot.

  • Yes, you will be provided with a model release form that allows you to use the images for your portfolio and social media. However, commercial use of the images is not permitted. We want to ensure everyone has the opportunity to showcase their work while respecting the boundaries of our collaborative environment.
