Zaka

Here was my thought process for this shoot with singer-songwriter Zaka:

Water is a symbol for emotions. Pisces (his zodiac sign) is a water sign. He's a musician. And I happened to have an old, broken guitar lying around at home.

All these things came together to form the concept of him, in the water, holding onto his guitar (his music) which keeps him afloat in all the water (emotions).

We also had fun playing around with his collection of vintage surf magazines.
