Some photos taken at the end of summer with musician Simon Korsak.
There’s something particularly magical about September (and not just because its my birth month). It’s such a transitory time. The seasons are changing – the last of the summer is still lingering while autumn is arriving.
I shot some video of Simon for his Patreon page in an ancient woodland where witches used to gather. After the video session was done I had an intuitive pull to ask Simon to lay down on the earth with his guitar for some photos. To show the connection between him and mother nature as well as his instrument. It’s one of my favourite images I’ve ever taken.
We also shot on Primrose Hill, where Simon played a few songs and strangers danced and clapped in the dusk.
